Venue: Reopened after renovation. Larger dining area. 2 function rooms. Causal setting. Larger tables have chopsticks and serveitte. Small tables have little drawers. --- 7.4/10
Service: To be seated. Given classic dishes menu and a tablet as menu. Told to place order by scanning QR code on the table. But, we wanted to pay cash, so we did it at the front desk. Chopsticks, serveitte, and spoons were placed onto the table. Get tap water at the front desk. Get the extra bowls from shelves besides the entrance. Polite and friendly staff. Food served fast. --- 7.5/10
F&B: Pretty Consistent. Causal presentation. Good portion. Reasonable prices.
- Sweet & Sour Pork, $28: served faster than noodles unexpectedly. Good ratio of pineapple & capsicum to the pork. Sauce was well-balanced. pork was tender. But the batter was too soggy after the texture. --- 7.2/10
- Cross Bridge Rice Noodles, $18.8: more ingredients than before. There are 1 prawn (medium sized), 3 luncheon meat, tofu sheet, shredded woodear mushrooms, 3 fishcake slices, bacon, beef, and 2 quail eggs. The beef broth was ok. Rice noodles were very soft. --- 7.6/10
- Spicy Beef Brisket Rice Noodles, $17.5: Supposed I ordered Beef Shank. Beef brisket was served finally. A young waiter gave me extra beef shank slices (~7pcs) aside. Beef brisket was very tender and moist - much better than beef shank. Shank slices were too thin and dry. --- 7.5/10

Very causal setting. We came here twice last year. This time, the menu is edited. Service was improved --- 7.3/10. Prompt service. Depends on which waitpersons. The young waitresses (3/2021) were polite, lovely and cheerful especially the one with big eyes. Waitress gave us a necessary set of utensils and serviette. Tap water was provided at the front counter self service area.

Beef Broth GuoQiao Rice noodles 骨湯過橋米線, $16.8: there are 1 big prawn, luncheon meat, tofu, shredded woodear mushrooms. Beef broth was ok. Rice noodles were very soft. --7/10
Beef Shank, Tomato Soup, Handmade noodles蕃茄牛腱麵, $13.8: There are 2 tomato wedges, Bak Choi, and super thin beef shank. So loss of texture of beef shank. Soup wasn't very heavy in tomato flavor. Large portion of handmade noodles were good --- 7/10
鮮蝦白菜(Prawn with Chinese Cabbage), $25.8: new dishes without official English name. There are 5-6 prawns shell on, but 1-2 were relatively or unreasonable small or/and not devain completely. Taste was good. --- 7.7/10
Dessert and drinks ($3.5@) came first.
Two drinks were normal portion but rather sweet.
Milk Custard with red beans was tasty but it wasn't real 双皮奶 in 順德 China. Wrong Chinese interpretation! It should be called 牛奶紅豆布丁. --- 7.2/10
紅燒牛腩套飯 Stewed beef flank set, AU$14.8: The portion of beef was slightly smaller with higher price than before. The Rice was dry and very hard. The beef flank was lean but not tough. Two side dishes, peanuts and the spicy seaweed were ok. The soup was not so attractive, just like pet worms in a bowl of water. --- 6/10
酸辣粉Spicy & sour noodles, $12.8: The noodles was tend to be spicy more than sour, but the flavor was not bad. Only the minced meat (likely with some peanuts) wasn't so enough. The texture of potato noodles were ok. --- 6/10
One other night we tried a small hotpot cost AU$68. The lovely waitress introduced different hotpot to us and hot to eat. Usually provides Chinese hotpot menu only. It says花膠 which is expensive fish maw in Cantonese. Actually, it only offers cheaper deep-fried fish maw 沙爆魚肚. Misleading Cantonese people. Soup base was thick with half chicken with bone, some goji berries, 2 abalones with shells, flat glass noodles. The abalones were fresh, big enough and tender. Small fish maw chicken hotpot --- 6/10. Can bring your own saucepan to take away the ingredients of the small hotpot.

Saw some TikTok videos of this place so gave it a go. The spice level of the noodles, even though it was labelled 🌶️🌶️, was not as spicy as the social media says it is. It’s pleasant and I didn’t leave a bit of soup left on my bowl. The tomato flavoured soup too was pleasant and the meatballs were well cooked, juicy and bouncy. Overall a nice experience but nothing wow as the TikTok video labelled it as.
